Informal
Chat and Sail Day 2009
Saturday
August 1st Swarkestone Sailing Club
| The day was a huge success for
two families with very young children affected
by FAP. It was the first time we had had the chance
ourselves to hear the special problems this presents.
Also how the families were trying to find information
and help their child understand both the present
and the future. Not the best of days weather wise
but it was possible later on for those interested
to enjoy a trip in the rescue boats. Also enjoying
the ride were members of The Swadlincote and District
Round Table who recently completed their own Cheap
Car Challenge and raised around £2,000 for
FAP Gene. |

Of
course Jimby and Cousin Jed have to get in
on the act. However they did help look after
the children. The other 20 who live with Mick
stayed at home but Jimby wanted to add this
to his own website www.jimby.me.uk
